The design for Luxottica Group’s offices in Izmir centred on a clean, minimal aesthetic with white as the dominant colour, accented by the company’s blue. Located on a floor of the polygonal Izmir Mistral Tower, the unconventional geometry posed challenges, which were resolved by neither fully conforming to nor opposing the twisting facade. Radial axes from the facade guided the layout, creating a dynamic corridor and functional spaces. Open offices benefited from natural light near the facade, while greenery, storage, and breakout zones enhanced functionality and comfort. A concealed lighting system emphasized the unique geometry, resulting in an engaging and harmonious interior that reflected and enriched the building’s architecture.
